Clinical sign White fusiform cysts are observed (Fig. 1).
Parasitology The cyst is filled with numerous round structures (ca. 20 ƒÊm in diameter), which some are cracked into 2 pieces at the central line (Fig. 2).

Other information The organism was found in the fillet of eiwadako (small immature common octopus utilized for octopus balls).
